Atrium Tower Lobby

Project Location
Ramat Gan Diamond Exchange
Execution Time
Four months
A spectacular staircase in the shape of a tornado located in the entrance lobby of the new Amot Atrium tower in Ramat Gan.

The lobby of the tower and the magnificent staircase, made of wood and metal, were designed by the Israeli architect – Oded Chalaf – while the development and implementation of the project was fully carried out by Gelfand.

This work was put together by an artist over several months on-site.
The staircase structure consists of two interlocking parts: a metal skeleton and a sculpted wooden shell. Together, the combination creates a structure that starts from the reception desk, which serves as a starting base, to the mezzanine, which rises to a height of fourteen meters. The equipment we used to create the creation is at the forefront of technology in the field of carpentry.

What appears to represent art is actually the result of algorithmic information processing and a product consisting of countless parts, irreplaceable, combined together, and made by hand.

We are proud of our participation in creating the tower that changes the rules of the game in our region.
